Fr. Trichosanthis Gua Lou 15g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, regulates Qi, unbinds the chest, reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules and eliminates pus.
With Ru Xiang, activates Qi and Blood to disperse swellings and clumps and treat puerperal breast disorders with accumulation, stagnation, distention and pain such as early-stage breast abscess.
With Gan Cao, Mo Yao and Ru Xiang, for Lung abscess marked by irritability, a stifling sensation in the chest and coughing up of pus and Blood.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 15g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops coughing, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Wine-parched Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Olibanum Ru Xiang 4.5g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, activates the channels, alleviates pain, reduces swelling and generates flesh.
With Mo Yao, for chronic, ulcerated and non-healing sores.
Myrrh Mo Yao 4.5g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, alleviates pain, reduces swelling, generates flesh and promotes healing.
With Ru Xiang, disseminates and unblocks the organs and dredges the channels and collaterals to treat epigastric, flank, abdominal and joint pain.

NOTES

  • Pulverize the ingredients and decoct in 3,000ml water, boiled down to 1,000ml. Take 1/3 of the decoction three times per day.
